1987 245 DL Volvo parts for Sale! South Texas

Hello Everyone!

I have to get rid of my most favorite car of all time (and I have had many in my time!)

My wife insists!  It still runs, has a 4 cylinder, 2.3L OHC, B230F (overhead cam) engine that doesn't consume oil and an automatic (OD) 4 speed transmission which doesn't leak and shifts solidly.  The tranny fluid has been changed annually for the past 7 years that I have owned the vehicle.  BTW I have only used Mobile 1 synthentic oil for engine oil changes.

It's just that the body has gone to pot! The driver side floor has huge holes in it, all the interior plastic is disintegrating.  I'm afraid soon I'll be able to stop the vehicle "Fred Flintstone" style!

It still drives like a dream! But I think it is best to 'part it out'.    I know the "drive-train" is good for many years to come.  So first of all I'd like someone who needs either an engine or a transmission, or both,  to come and take a look at it!!   I don't want to pull the engine until you  drive it around.  We live in South Texas.

It has many other parts you might want to cannibalize:

The rear-facing jumpseat
spare tire,
4 tires in pretty good condition,
nice fenders ,
hood,
strong battery,

Of course if you just want the whole kit and caboodle, you could drive it off to your secret hideaway  and cannibalize it yourself.  If the brakes fail, you'll still be able to stop it! (with your feet)

Hello Everyone!

I have to part with my most favorite vehicle of all time!  My 1987 245 DL Volvo.

The driver side floor is rusting thru, and I think it is best just to part it out.

It has:

-   4 cylinder motor which doesn't burn or leak oil and gets 25 mpg (always used Mobile 1)
-   4 speed (OD) automatic transmission which shifts beautifully (always changed fluid annually)
-   Undented fenders and hood.  The exterior body is good except where my wife jammed the bumper in.
-   Rear facing jump seat that the kids always thought was a lot of fun.
-   Good tires, and anything else you might imagine on a 25 year old vehicle which I was driving until recently.

Maybe you'll just want to drive my baby away and cannibalize it yourself.  At least you can stop it with your own two feet if the brakes fail!! (remember, the floor is rusted out!!)
